Christmas Cookie Recipes: Chocolate Rudolph Cookies
It’s Christmas Cookie Recipes time of the year!
Chocolate cookies are always a good idea. Especially during the Holiday Season! These are very easy to make. You can go further and decorate them with nuts, powdered sugar, or even make Rudolph the Reindeer with the kids!
Prep Time: 15 min
Bake Time: 10-12 min
Equipment: Parchment Paper, Baking Pan, Spatula, Cooling Rack
Preheat oven to 355F (180C).
Melt 200 g (7.0 oz) Chocolate Chips (72%) with 50 g (1.8 oz) Unsalted Butter. Whisk together.
Beat 2 Eggs and 170 g (6.0 oz) Brown Sugar together until the mixture is fluffy and increased in size.
4. Sift together 100 g (3.6 oz) All-Purpose Flour, 1/2 tsp Baking Powder and a pinch of Salt.
Add it to the Eggs Mixture.
5. Now, mix in the Dough into the Melted Chocolate.
7. Use an ice cream scoop to scoop out cookies. Flatten them with a spoon. A simple spoon or piping bag will work too.
8. Bake the Cookies for 10-12 minutes (but no more, as they might dry out) at 355F (180C).
9. Put them on a cooling rack and let them cool down.
10. The Cookies are ready to be eaten. But, since it is Christmas Cookie Recipe, let's decorate them!
11. Make noses from red M&M's, horns from Mini Pretzels, and eyes from Icing and Black Sesame Seeds. You can glue the nose and horns with icing, or melted chocolate.
