Sautéed Zucchini with Parmesan and Almonds. Zucchini side dish.

Easy to make healthy side dish - Sauteed Zucchini with Parmesan Cheese and Almonds.

This healthy side dish has a mild taste and crunchy texture and will work with any main dish of your choice.

  • Prep Time: 5 minutes

  • Cooking Time: 15 minutes

  • Equipment: Frying Pan

To make Sauteed Zucchini start by:

  1. To a skillet add 3 tbsp of Oil or Butter.

  2. Add in 3 tbsp of Sliced Almonds.

  3. Cook for a few minutes over medium heat, stirring constantly.

  4. When almonds brown a little, take off the heat.

5. Chop 3 small Zucchinis.

6. Add zucchinis to the same skillet and cook for about 5-7 minutes over low-medium heat or until zucchini pieces become softer in texture. Make sure to not overcook them as they will lose their texture and moisture.

7. Take off the heat and mix with almonds.

8. Add 1/2 tsp Salt.

9. Grate or shave 1/4 cup (50 g) of Parmesan Cheese.

10. Add Parmesan on top of zucchinis and enjoy! It tastes better when it's warm.
